Garden Staples 6 inch Galvanized

  • STAPLES MADE TO LAST YEARS: Made from strong, durable 11 gauge galvanized steel, our staples will never rust
  • COUNTLESS USES Landscape fabric, burlap, garden netting, artificial turf, chain link fences, holiday decorations, edging, drip irrigation lines, wires, dog fence, sod, erosion control weed blanket, weed barrier, secure tomato cages, chicken wire, ground cover, weed cloth, synthetic grass and of hundreds more uses
  • FULL 6 INCH IN LENGTH - 2 INCHES LONGER and MADE OF THICKER MORE DURABLE STEEL than the staples you will find at the big box stores. The extra length of these staples is the key to BETTER SECURING your landscape fabric. Saving you extra work and frustration from having to redo and add more staples to anchor down your material.
  • By securing better you can use fewer staples compared to 4-inch staples when pinning down your material. Sharp angled ends make for easy/effortless ground insertion. 1 inch square top- makes for easy insertion by hand, foot or hammer if needed.
  • MADE IN THE USA- From the raw galvanized steel to forming of the staples to packaging. 100 % AMERICAN MADE. Buying these staples helps support American businesses
  • WHAT IS GALVANIZED STEEL-Our galvanized steel staples are a mild steel with a zinc surface layer. The zinc is what prevents rust even if the metal is scratched. A powdery white color will appear if it gets wet. The metal will turn from a shiny silver to a dull gray over time. Galvanized steel is magnetic.
  • We stand behind our product 100%. If you are not completely satisfied you can return them. If you have any questions just use the form on this page and we will do our best to get you an answer ASAP.

More About Garden Staple Wire

  • Understanding Steel Gauge: The lower the gauge number, the thicker and stronger the metal. For example- 9 gauge is thicker than 11 gauge. So 9 gauge would be a better option if your soil is hard or compacted.
  • Gauge Range is Important: Each gauge of wire has a range of diameters that fall under the acceptable range to be called 11 gauge. 11 gauge wire can range from .1205 to .109 in thickness. .1205 being the largest and .109 the smallest. Pinnacle Mercantile 11 gauge wire is .117.
  • Staple Usage: Soft soil requires more staples than hard soils If you are laying down erosion control blanket. Because you are not putting anything more on top of the blanket. When using staples for landscape fabric you can use fewer staples because you will be putting mulch, rock or some other covering on top of the fabric.
  • Placement Guidelines for Erosion Blanket: For soft soil, install one staple every 1 foot. For normal soil, install one staple every 3 feet. For hard soil, install one staple every 5 feet.
